We are always pleased to hear from you in person, by email, phone or post. Our office staff will be pleased to answer most of your questions but will also be able to direct any specific enquiries to the relevant member of staff.  Tel: 01225 762637

Before contacting the school, please consider that you will be able to find many answers on this website or within or School Gateway System.  This will enable us to respond more quickly to essential calls/emails. 

Child protection and safeguarding

If you have a child protection or safeguarding concern, please feel free to contact Mrs Kerr (Designated Safeguarding Lead) email: hkerr@jogschool.org or T: 01225 762637if you have any concerns in relation to students being at risk.

Student welfare

Please refer any issues regarding welfare to your child’s tutor in the first instance. They can be contacted on the main school number T: 01225 762637. They will aim to contact you within 48 hours, however, please be aware that tutors are generally full time teachers and are unlikely to be able to call back during the school day.

Year Leaders can be contacted if your child’s tutor has been unable to resolve your issue.

Special Educational Needs / Disability (SEND)

If your query is regarding your child’s special educational needs, then you will need to contact our SENDCo Mrs Marshall on 01225 762637or by emailing vmarshall@jogschool.org

For anything attendance related please contact the Attendance Officer on 01225 762637.

Curriculum issues

This team is co-ordinated by Mr Rhodes, Deputy Headteacher.

In the first instance, with any curriculum/subject concerns or questions, please contact your child’s teacher for that subject on 01225 762637. They will aim to respond to you within 48 hours. (Please note: the Pastoral Team may be unable to provide you with the appropriate response to a curriculum issue, so please contact your child’s teacher).

More urgent or serious concerns will be escalated by your child’s teacher to the Director of Learning for that subject. If you have a complaint regarding a subject or curriculum area, please contact the relevant Director of Learning on 01225 762637.

Examinations

Please contact the Exams Office for any queries over exams.
